Dancing Classes with Friends
Today, Duane, Mark and I took a class from Chiche and Marta on Elegant Tango Moves. They are and older couple who have been dancing 50 years and are very elegant and smooth dancers. The class was interesting since they do not speak any English, but despite that they were able to get their points [...]

Buenos Aries on 30 Winks a Night
While Duane and Eric were dancing, I spent 45 minutes writing all about our Buenos Aries adventure and then theĀ Internet connection timed out right when I went to save it! Oh bad- I should know better than not to save regularly. Eric and Duane and I are staying in a great apartment in Recoletta and [...]

The Best Neighborhood in Atlanta
I got a call yesterday from Lori Johnston of Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles who wanted to interview me about the changes in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood that I have seen over the past few years, for an article for their May issue. Sewing Satisfaction

Spring Chickens
What exactly is a spring chicken? You don’t ever hear people say “oh look she is such a spring chicken”. You only hear it as “she ain’t no spring chicken”. I guess it would be nice to not be not a spring chicken. But oh well…. my ramblings on the ramifications of being or not being a Spring Chicken started when I

Tango on the brain
“The Anniversary” by Ernie Barnes
I had to pass on Tango in Piedmont Park today and just chill. It has been a busy weekend. We had a dinner and tango party here on Friday night for the Atlanta people who are going to Buenos Aries in March - and those who we wish were going. [...]
