Yesterday, this huge and wonderful DWR catalog came in the mail. It was luscious and had the most interesting photography. One of the most bestest things was the Airstream Bambi Trailer. Airstreams hadn’t changed much in a lot of years. In fact their motto is: Make only improvements, not changes.

Today I got an e-mail from one of my Southern Breeze beach house rental guests wanting to know what material I used on the floors. I went around and around about that decision at the time. I don’t like using tile throughout a house because it is not “comfy”. And wood is just so finicky in the high humidity and I didn’t want to worry that someone might leave their wet bathing suits and towels in a heap on the floor.
