658 Studio Launched with Great Turnout

Posted August 23rd, 2008 by Judi

The studio opening party and artist sale continues today from 12-5 at 658 Angier Avenue. Mary has displayed Felted Heart baby clothes and dog sweaters, blankets, onsies and other items and some things are 50% off. I bought some beautiful and comfortable handmade damask covered shoes for 65.00 from Ann Roth, and four pair of fantastic earrings from Tracy Tirrell. I have been eying Jacqueline Sanchez’s Lego jewelry but can’t make up my mind which piece to get.

Karen Meyers is there with her hats and handbags. Callahan McDonough is showing her floorcloths and has sold a few already.

Tasha has some great buys on her end of season clothing in the sewing room and Mandy is there with her darling baby clothes. Emilie’s “Mama” soaps and body products are providing the entire space with incredible aroma therapy and her husband is providing the excellent food. There is still plenty of wine and great buys, so go on over. Hurry. But if you can’t make it, don’t fret, you can find most of these artist’s wares at the Beehive Collective on Peachtree in Buckhead.
