Four Days to Hotness
The other day, Grant’s friend Hollis stopped into Danneman’s and was telling us how she is on the last stages of a big self improvement program. First, she went on a ten day cleanse and lost ten pounds, she got busy and all of a sudden her hair was long, then she had her teeth bleached at a book fair, and has had been working on a fake tan – well on the way to be hot by Tuesday, when she is going to be on a reality TV show.
I’m impressed and envious, Not about the reality TV show. Its the countdown to hotness approach that is a pretty good idea. I was going to Weight Watchers last month and doing well, but I hated the particular meeting I was going to in Decatur. After getting back from Oregon I got all caught up in the creation of Danneman’s and have not gone to another meeting since I returned.
I need to get on the hotness bandwagon. I need to get to a different meeting since I hated the one I was going to, because it really is helpful to have support for a goal. You know the eye on the prize and all that. But tell you the truth, it has been really hot here in Atlanta and it is really hard to get up the go for being hot when it is nearly 100 degrees. I know, excuses, excuses…
