Save Save Save

Yikes, I wrote a masterpiece on my feelings about the campaign and the Obama win last night. It took me about an hour and a half to finish and polish it up. Then, at that moment my computer froze up and I lost it. I lost the whole thing. And then I really lost it! How many times do I have to learn this lesson about saving my work?

I was so frustrated. You see I had not been able to blog for several days since we had the “get out the Vote” effort for this area here at our loft on Krog Street. There were people coming and going, canvassing new voters, doing calls for the phone bank, and generally working their hearts out for Obama for  the five days leading up to the elections. ALl the phone bank computers were hooked up to our computer network to get Skype so people without enough minutes on the cell phones could make calls. The netwrok was working so hard that my computer was just too slow to work on-line. So I finally gave up trying to blog. Since I couldn’t blog, I decided to make a little video to document our part in Obama’s ground game. But after I made it, I couldn’t upload the darn thing to You Tube.

Tomorrow, I am going to get all straightened out, technologically speaking of course. Hopefully, I can post my video then. Stay tuned.
