Watch Fox News? Change the channel once in a while.

Atlanta is a blue enclave in a very red state, especially Intown where I live. So when I do run across people that are voting for McCain, I am interested in them. What are they thinking? How and why are they making their decisions? What I have noticed is that most of the McCain supporters I know are addicted to Fox news and topping that off they a lot of them drive around listening to right wing radio stations. I do sometimes tune into talk radio and Fox News to see what is going on and if that is someones sole source of information, no wonder!

Leading up to and since the Tuesday debates between McCain and Obama the McCain campaign has been doing some pretty slimy mud slinging in what appears to be a pretty desperate attempt to discredit Obama. After all, they don’t seem to be getting anywhere with a focus on the issues. In fact, it seems that the McCain campaign as well as The Fox News channel are doing everything they can not to talk about the real issues in a serious way. The Daily Show has a funny but disturbing little video of Fox News reporting the last few days after the debate.
